First things first… Eva here.
I must highlight that I have finally found natural skincare that I can really get behind. Dawn and I are not necessarily woo woo when it comes to this, but we DEFINITELY are all about natural skincare (and haircare) that works.
This explains it all:
We are affiliates and you can get 10% off with our code “DAWNANDEVA” – how much better does that get?!
This is a quick review but a full in-depth blog post will be coming soon about Be Well.
I was given the “Get Me Started Kit“. The packaging is gorgeous and the smell is divine. But even better, it really is fantastic and I LOVE the tone of my skin. I cannot wait to get Dawn in on this!
It is easy to use. I am digging this.
Again..more in depth review coming but I couldn’t not share this info with you all immediately and give you a discount code!
The creator, Natalie, has an incredible story. She has MS and was determined to heal herself. Some of you may not know this, but both my sisters have MS. This hit home for me.
Dawn here taking over the next 4!
If you ask me what my favorite makeup product is, it’s hands down MASCARA. I don’t leave home without it on.
I was always taught to layer my mascara, and I use 5 different mascaras daily. lol.
My base coat, lengthening primer and lower lash regimen are always the same “staple” products and so is my third layer of mascara. Third layer of mascara is It Cosmetics Hello Lashes.
Hello lashes has the BEST wand/brush, it has a round ball at the tip that lengthens, curls and separates.
This 5-in-1 mascara is made in the USA. It’s paraben-free, fragrance-free, phthalate-free and sulfate-free.
It’s a great formula that builds volume without clumping or flaking. The brush is what separates this mascara from all the rest.
I was beyond thrilled to find Proactiv Emergency Blemish Relief at Ulta.
I’ve always been a big fan of Proactiv acne treatments. I use emergency blemish relief to clear up stubborn pimples or for when I feel a pimple coming on.
This contains 5% benzoyl peroxide that kills bacteria on contact. You should only use this product as a spot treatment by applying a small amount on affected areas and here is why: **Overuse can cause skin irritation and dryness.
It’s important to use moisturizer and sunscreen after using blemish cream. If you have a pimple or feel one coming out use this immediately, pimples dramatically diminish in days. I have MAJOR luck with this!!
First of all, I am such a dingbat!!! 🤦🏻♀️ I totally purchased this by mistake. I thought I was buying Woolite stain remover for delicate laundry. When it arrived I was like what the heck is this…I’ll never use this!
Well guess what?!?! I did need this after all! It’s so true that everything happens for a reason. I accidentally spilled hot tea all over the carpet that I just had professionally cleaned. Ugh!
Woolite INSTAclean instantly took the stain out. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly it removed the stain. Not only did it clean well, it has a pleasant smell.
This is a GREAT product to have handy if you have carpets, area rugs, upholstery, kids and pets. **I just got one for Eva. Her Lukey Mister is a disaster. lol.
This is my first air purifier and I have to say, it’s pretty AMAZING! I noticed right away the change in the air quality in our bedroom.
A few months ago I had the carpet in our master bedroom professionally cleaned. The carpet is a light beige color and for some reason it had areas where there were black markets on it. The tech Chris thought the black marks were from heat or dust. Chris suggested (after he cleaned the carpet so beautifully) that we may want to look into getting an air purifier to help keep the air clean from dust particles. I was hesitant at first to purchase one mainly because most of the ones I’ve seen are super large, in my opinion a big EYE SORE!!!
The LEVOIT model that I purchased has so many wonderful features: compact design (not an eye sore), gentle & quiet white noise operation, choose between 2 blue night light settings, change filter indicator, 3 fan speeds, hepa filter which captures pet dander, carbon filter which absorbs smoke, along with other unpleasant odors, 3 stages of filtration that traps dust mites, large particles and pollen.
GREAT FOR PEOPLE WITH ALLERGIES!!!
Thanks Triple S Carpet Cleaners, I am extremely happy with your service. Chris was so professional, thorough and knowledgeable. If it weren’t for Chris I would have never purchased this AWESOME Levoit air purifier.
P.S. I also recommend getting replacement air filter: Levoit LV-H132-RF (2 pack).
So that’s it. HAPPY ALMOST FEBRUARY! We hope you enjoyed this week’s Five Things Friday Part 23.
Do you suffer with allergies? What are your thoughts on air purifiers?
