Anastasia Brow Freeze vs NYX Bush Tamer

Anastasia Brow Freeze vs NYX Bush Tamer (Netflix Sex Education) – that is seriously the name!! We are BACK with another blog post finally! Better late than never 🙃

Dawn here…Both of these products are GREAT! 😍

Anastasia Brow Freeze vs NYX Bush Tamer! let's compare shall we!

So let’s start with the basics.

Both products are easy to use: Just brush them onto brows and style in place to create brow-raising looks that will hold up to 16 hrs.

I’ve been a big fan of the Anastasia Brow Freeze since it came out. We talked about it HERE and HERE. It WAS very difficult to find because it was in such high demand. When I literally couldn’t find it anywhere, I decided to try NYX Bush Tamer. Boy oh boy was I pleasantly surprised how well it worked and you can’t beat the price!

Here are some details:

Brow Freeze: $23 – 8g/0.28 oz

  • styling wax
  • no residue or flaking
  • water-based formula
  • paraben free
  • cruelty free
  • vegan

Bush Tamer: $8 – 5.0g/0.17 oz

  • clear brow styling gel
  • non-sticky, transparent formula with natural finish
  • quick & easy to apply
  • vegan formula
  • cruelty free
a cheap brow alternative...BUSH TAMER!!! Anastasia Brow Freeze vs NYX Bush Tamer

Brow Freeze needs to be applied with a spoolie brush. There is definitely a learning curve to get the right amount of product on the brush, it’s not as easy as 1,2,3!

Bush Tamer comes with a mini brush for more precise application. This makes it easier to control the amount of product on the brush and it is as simple as 1,2,3!

Bottom line: You can’t go wrong with either one. It really is your own personal preference. If I HAD to choose one…I would pick NYX Bush Tamer.

NOW. Look at pic below.

Which product is on which brow?!

I did one of each….take a guess!

Hope you enjoyed this post! I loved reviewing both and love the price point of NYX. Tell us what you think!

When we tell you we are always on the hunt for less expensive dupes, WE ARE. Always. We are always trying new things and bringing you the best of what we can find at the best price. Some beauty products really are worth the splurge, though. And we are honest about that!

Splurge Vs Steal part 2!

Get ready for 6 great SPLURGE VS. STEAL below! and…TGIF!

We make a very small commission if you use our links & it is at NO cost to you 🥰 thank you for the support!!

bronzer comparison. splurge vs steal part 2!

WE LOVE BRONZER. It’s really a staple for us both. Morphe has been a great and extremely consistent less expensive brand for years now. This bronzer you can get away with the steal. The one thing we slightly like better about Too Faced is just how smooth it goes on.. it does not tug at your skin whatsoever! We did a review here.

Links below ⬇️

eyeliner comparison - stila vs nyx. Splurge vs steal

Eyeliner is also something we love.. shocked? LOL.

Stila goes on beautifully, but comes at a heavier price tag. NYX is another well known, consistent (cheaper) brand that works well, too. NYX is more than half the price… say what?!??!

HOWEVER, if you can do the splurge… do it. I, Eva, like the precision & control of the Stila eyeliner just a tad bit more than NYX.

Brightener eye pencil comparison - thrive vs NYX!

When Dawn & I were discussing this week’s SPLURGE VS. STEAL PART 2, we couldn’t NOT include these less-than-$5-eye brightener pencils from NYX!! Don’t let the eyeliner name fool you, you can use the lighter colors for brightening any part of the eye area!

We both also have the Thrive pencils. $20 more for basically the same thing? Don’t do it…stick with NYX!

Links below ⬇️

IT Cosmetics Vs Morphe eye crease brush!

You also may have seen we LOVE IT COSMETIC brushes and it’s rare anything comes close. HOWEVER, I (Eva) have been testing out Morphe brushes more and more lately. I am REALLY happy with them. I am able to really create an eyeshadow look that blends and one I can control without fall out everywhere.

If you have seen our recent Instagram feed, my eye makeup is all with Morphe eye brushes!

Dawn says: “My niece turned me onto Morphe brushes years ago. Not as good as It Brushes but for the price they are awesome!”

Links below ⬇️

COSRX vs The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid... go with the splurge!

A true SPLURGE VS. STEAL here, and we can’t help but say.. GO WITH THE SPLURGE for an amazing hyaluronic acid product!! COSRX blows The Ordinary out of the water and we are 100% unanimous in that decision.

For both of us, COSRX just melts into our skin and our skin eats it up. Also, the bottle is HUGE. We simply cannot get enough. ***We did NOT feel that way about The Ordinary, unfortunately. However, it really is a good price, but the bottle is smaller.

Links below ⬇️

Last but not least….we couldn’t not include a home/kitchen product. You see how much we both love YETI, but Yeti is pricey.

Yeti dupe for the win...go for the steal!

I don’t even know how to pronounce Muchenghy but the price is fantastic & the reviews are excellent.

Splurge vs. steal – take the steal!

These are great and just in time for SUMMER!

SO there you have 6 amazing Splurge Vs. Steals for the week!

What else would you add? Tell us!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Splurge vs. Steal part 1 edition! We are excited to put this together on this Good Friday.

How has your week been?

Honestly, to us, it feels like things are some-what getting back to normal? We hate to say that and jinx it though!

splurge vs steal part 1

SO, we have been trying a lot or products lately. We’ve been on a mission to find less expensive versions of our favorites. Basically, we are spending the money so you don’t have to. lol.

Of course, we LOVE the splurge products, but if you are on a tight budget, the steals are a great comparable/compromise.

We make a very small commission if you use our links & it is at NO cost to you 🥰 thank you for the support!!

It Cosmetics Vs Maybelline Fit Me. Splurge vs steal

If you can afford the splurge, do that…but both are AMAZING on the skin. We talk about both of these a lot. Your skin looks flawless and smooth. The IT Cosmetics one just feels a tad lighter and your skin really feels great (I, Eva, notice this mostly when I go to take my makeup off.. just how incredible my skin feels).

Links below ⬇️

IT Cosmetics

MASCARA MAGIC! Mac Vs. Maybelline. Splurge vs. steal.

The steal in this one is SO WORTH IT!!! Both are great, but if you can save money, why not!

Links below ⬇️

the original beauty blender vs. real techniques... both are great but one is definitely cheaper!!

Most everyone has heard of a Beauty Blender. But is $20 necessary? Sure, I mean, it works! But I, Eva, have been using the much less expensive version by Real Techniques. WHAT A STEAL at $5.99. You can get four of these babies for the price of one. I find it works just as well at the BB.

Links below ⬇️

Beauty Blender

Real Techniques

another IT Cosmetics vs Maybelline Fit Me splurge vs. steal.

Dawn has been loving the FIT ME powder. I, Eva, say no….don’t do the steal on this one – buy the IT Cosmetics. We are split 50/50 here. lol. The Fit Me powder is OK but I find it drying. Dawn loves it like I said and has no issues!

Links below ⬇️

Fit Me Powder

It Cosmetics Air Brush

eyeshadow comparison! Mac vs Morphe!

Mac is a staple for most.. classic, if you will. But we LOVE the Morphe shadow palette’s. You get SO MUCH for your money!!

Links below ⬇️

Last but not least for splurge vs. steal part one….

Lash primer!! splurge vs.steal. both are good but Lancome really is GREAT

Lancôme Cils Booster is a STAPLE FOR BOTH OF US! We are hooked, obsessed, and have a whole review on it here.

However, L’Oreal you are a great alternative to save a few bucks. I, Eva, will say, the L’Oreal one doesn’t last nearly as long, so you probably use two tubes by the time you only use one Lancôme.

Links below ⬇️

Choice is yours…lol. Both work, but Lancôme wins here.

Did you like this post? TELL US!! We’d be happy to do more of them.

If you celebrate, we wish you a very Happy Easter! & Happy Belated Passover!

TGIF! Five Things Friday Part 9 is here, and we have, as always, a good mix to share with you!

How is everyone’s October going? Hopefully you are all happy, healthy, and safe.

SO, let’s get to it! To clarify, we both collaborate on the product reviews… some are by Eva solely, some Dawn soley, and some are mix. We always will tell you whose voice it is. First up is Eva, and Dawn the remaining 4!

I, Eva, bought this cream for my son. He has major eczema and this was recommended to me to help clear his skin. THIS WORKS!

Luke will go to bed with what feels like a million dry eczema spots on his hands, arms, and legs and with a heavy dose of this on his body, he will wake up clear. It’s awesome. Just ask my husband – he feels the “wrath of Eva” when he forgets to put this on Luke at night when I’m teaching at the Edge. 😂

Cerave best cream - five things friday part 9!

Consequently, I love it so much on him that I also use it now when my hands AND face are feeling extra dry. I mean in all honesty I would not use this on your face often – it is thick and I worry it may cause breakouts but it is really awesome for hands, arms, creases of elbows, knees, and legs.

In short, super simple review but really this moisturizing lotion rocks.

Next up is Dawn, and we will continue with the beauty products and end with 2 home product.

Billion Dollar Brows Butter Pomade

Dawn ~ Now that I’m getting older I’ve noticed that my eyebrows are very sparse. The “sparse-ness” is even more noticeable because my eyebrows are so dark.

As a result, I’ve tried “many” eyebrow products to help cover my bare spots. The only one that completely covers, blends effortlessly, and has a long lasting effect is Billion Dollar Brown Butter Pomade.

I love that it comes with a mini brush to help with application. Depending on whether you like natural or bold looking eyebrows, the texture of the pomade butter glides on smooth to cover brows and skin with a flawless finish.

billion dollar brows. great for filling in and easy to use. five things friday part 9!

So, Ipsy introduced this product to me about a year ago, and I just had to order a refill (so it does last a long time) a few weeks ago. When placing my order I decided to add another one for Eva to try. Would love to hear what she thinks of it…

(Eva – my color is too light – I need the darker one to really have an opinion 😉 HOWEVER the application is super easy the brush and product really do go on effortlessly like Dawn said. If you are blonde, get the darker color and not the taupe.. it’s too gray looking).

Speaking of eyes, let’s discuss some eye drops I really love.

Lumify Eye Drops

Dawn~ I have very sensitive eyes they are always irritated, dry and red from allergies, dry from makeup, and dry from being tired.

I received a free sample several months ago in the mail of Lumify Eye Drops by Bausch&Lomb. I was hesitant at first to use it but I am constantly putting some kind of drops in my eyes so I figured why not give this a try!

Just one drop in each eye and I felt instant relief. The dryness, itchiness and 100% of the redness was gone in seconds.

lumify eye drops, works wonders for dry eyes. five things friday part 9

This is a little more expensive than other similar products but well worth it!

Above all, I love Lumify so much that I have it in my medicine cabinet, makeup bag, suitcase, gym bag, beach bag, purse and car!

Next… there are 2 “home” products I am going to take you through.

Downy Wrinkle Releaser

So, #4 really is worth discussing.

I (Dawn) use this everyday on my exercise shirts. It refreshes and get the wrinkles out without having to take the iron out. As a result, this has truly been a lifesaver for me because I always seem to be in a hurry.

Simple and easy to use: spray and stretch the wrinkles out by pulling or gliding your hand over the fabric.

downy wrinkle release, great for on the go!! five things friday part 9

To be clear, it will NOT remove every single wrinkle but it works great on cotton.

Also, great to use before ironing or steaming to help get deep wrinkles out. Sometimes I will spray on my clothes and put them in the dryer for a few minutes, and they come out ready to wear.

I don’t travel without the mini size – it’s always in my suitcase.

One last thing: my husband who LOVES to iron has been using DWR daily on his work clothes, and he is so pleased with the results that he hasn’t use the iron in months!!!

Eva – I LOVE THIS!! Dawn’s review couldn’t be more spot on. Often times for my previous office job, I needed to absolutely take wrinkles out of shirts, and I NEVER have time to iron and this worked perfectly. Thumbs up.

Critter Ridder

The last one for Five things Friday Part 9, and this one makes perfect sense as we are putting pumpkins outside.

Dawn here for the last product! If you love to decorate your front porch, balcony, deck, yard, etc. (as much as I do) for Fall/Halloween/Thanksgiving you will more than likely have a pumpkin or two or in my case 80…. not a typo, I really have over 80 pumpkins of all shapes, sizes and colors in my yard! AND… Animals “LOVE” to eat pumpkins!!

Not only does this ruin them it makes quite a MESS! 😡 I’ve tried just about everything to deter them from taking a bite out of them. My husband found Critter Ridder at Home Depot and told me to give it a try.

critter ridder, really works to prevent animals from eating your pumpkins! five things friday part 9!

*by the way, I have searched high and low on price points and Home Depot has the best price.

To be honest, I thought this is going to be another waste of time and money! I have to say I was pleasantly surprised: it actually down right shocked me that it worked.

I GENEROUSLY sprayed all of my pumpkins with Critter Ridder and I do reapply after it rains.

Critter Ridder is an organic animal repellent that contains three different peppers, the oil of black pepper, pipeline and capsaicin. It works on animal’s sense of smell, taste, and touch. The website says that the sensation is similar to biting into a red-hot jalapeño.

My biggest advice is to…REMEMBER TO REAPPLY AFTER HEAVY RAIN!!! I highly recommend this product as an effective safe way to deter animals from eating your pumpkins!

PHEW if you got through that one! To sum it up, that was #5 and the last.

As always, and we mean it, we enjoyed putting this together for our Five Things Friday #9! (See our previous FTF here)

Hope you are having a wonderful Friday. In addition, remember today is also Fashion Friday! We are also on and you can easily shop our looks – it is such an AWESOME (and user-friendly) platform!

dawn and eva.. typical post gym selife @ the Edge Norwalk. five things friday part 9!

TWO MONTHS! Here we are with FIVE THINGS FRIDAY PART 8! Very exciting.

You will also notice this week we’ve been more active on our newest platform, We can share so much more there and the experience is very easy – a link is right there for everything in our picture! Doesn’t get better than that, honestly. There is so much more we will be sharing in the coming weeks. Stay up to date and join our email list (form below).

Anyway… as promised, here are our 5 favorite things this week. The first 2 are Eva’s reviews and last 3 are Dawn’s.

five things friday part 8!

Glossier Priming Moisturizer Balance

Eva – So… I discovered this on an Instagram ad. No joke. I am always sold on those things!

I have really obnoxious oily skin as the days goes on. For years now, I have been on the hunt for a good primer, and I try everything I can get my hands on. There wasn’t high hopes for this, but the description sold me:

Glossier primer great for oily skin. Five things friday part 8!

Balancing oil without drying skin? YES PLEASE! My first time using it, I was like, OMG, this feels amazing on my skin. It felt so soothing. And honestly, I use it at night now, as well, because it feels that refreshing. IDK if I am supposed to but hey, whatever works!

I am also a sucker for pretty

If you have oily/combination skin that gets worse in the afternoons.. and even if you don’t.. I highly recommend this primer. It’s light and just really feels great on the skin, and it DOES work.

Get 10% off your first order and free shipping with orders of over $30. Yes!

Next onto an item you’ll never not see me using at the gym…

Trident White Peppermint Gum

For #2, if you guessed GUM… you are correct!

I always need gum in my mouth when teaching Bodypump and Zumba. Honestly I am not chewing & chomping it, but I just have it in my mouth because I found it prevents my mouth from drying out. I talk a lot on the mic through teaching BodyPump, and I don’t have time to really drink water, so this helps a ton!

I also use this because it’s one of the few chewing gums that does not disintegrate as I teach. *Most* gums I have tried fall apart, melt, and I end up swallowing it. This stays completely in tact through 2 hours of teaching. WIN!

This gum is also great for after meals and just everyday use. I have it as an Amazon subscription basis every 2 months. So I do get good use out of it & it lasts a while.

best chewing gum when teaching fitness classes. Five things friday part 8!

Does it whiten my teeth? No. Definitely not. Can’t have it all.. haha.

#3, #4, and #5 are all Dawn, so here you go! and I have to be honest, she really gives the best reviews!

Tweezerman Folding iLashComb

Dawn here and taking over the next 3!

THIS IS THE GREATEST LASHCOMB EVER! Definitely an essential item in my daily makeup routine.

I do apply several different layers of mascara, anywhere from 3 to 5 (and I know Eva does the same). I use the iLashcomb in between mascara applications to help separate, lengthen, and remove excess mascara & clumps. The comb is metal so the teeth are strong and SHARP!

iLash comb - best for de clumping lashes. Five Things Friday part 8!!

I gently clean the residual mascara off the teeth with a makeup wipe or hydrogen peroxide on a cotton square, let dry, fold, and store in my makeup bag.

I’ve yet to find another product that gives my eyelashes such amazing definition! Tweezerman products are quality made so they can be pricey but well worth it!

If you are obsessed with long perfect lashes like I am, I highly recommend you add this to your makeup routine!

I am next going to take you to my favorite face cleanser.

Bobbi Brown Soothing Face Cleanser

I believe that taking good care of your skin starts with a good deep cleanser. My go to cleanser is Bobbi Brown Soothing Cleansing Oil (Note, this is different & and different use from our Favorite Skin Oil we wrote about on Tuesday).

I’ve been using it for quite some time now – I’m constantly buying new cleansers to try and I ALWAYS go back to it!

Bobbie brown face cleansing oil - the best for my dry skin. Five Things Friday part 8!!
look at this gorgeous bottle!

Most cleansers leave my face feeling dry and tight, NOT THIS ONE!!

Not only does it leave my skin feeling AMAZING and smells delightful, but it removes ALL of my makeup – and I mean EVERYTHING (even waterproof mascara)!!

I have sensitive skin and this oil cleanser doesn’t irritate or cause breakouts like other products do. Don’t let the fact that it’s an oil based product scare you, it does NOT leave any oil residue on your face, it leaves your skin feeling clean and hydrated!

Eye Lift 360 Waterproof Primer

Last but not least, a primer I am also hooked on.

*please note this is absolutely not sponsored; we genuinely want to share this product.

I purchased this primer when it first launched and I’m so thrilled that I did!

Finding the right product for under my eyes is a huge struggle, and what intrigued me about this primer is that it works all around the eyes and provides anti-aging benefits. I honestly was thinking this would end up with all of the rest of my under eye products – in a basket collecting dust! 😂

eyelift 360 primer, obsessed! Five Things Friday part 8!

I use it everyday, and you just need a very little bit under eyes and then blend it in. It can also be used on the eyelids & smile lines or as I call them “parentheses lines” around the mouth. Directions recommend to use before adding concealer but I use just the primer only. I like the way it smooths out my eyes without making them look dry and flaky. The older I get the more difficult it is for me to find products that are light enough to cover my imperfections without it looking caked on!

(Eva here – I have not tried this but I am hating my undereyes at the moment so now I am sold on this. HA!)

You can get $10 off your first order here.

Thrive 360 waterproof primer keeps my eyes looking clean and fresh for the ENTIRE day!

That concludes PART 8 of Five Things Friday! Do you have a favorite under eye product? That is always something we are looking for.

Hey there! Five Things Friday Part 7(!!!) coming in hot. 7 weeks of creating blog posts and it’s gone by incredibly fast. Broken record saying this but we are truly enjoying creating the content for you all!

Can you also believe it is FALL in just a few days? We are LOVING this cooler weather!

Five Things Friday part 7!!!

Today is a good mix of items… mostly from Dawn ♥︎

Origins Ginger Body Scrub

Dawn here! I’ve been using this product for years, since the 90’s!

I remember going to visit my friend Lisa at her new job at the Origins Store in the Stamford Mall.  She was excited to be working for a company using natural & organic products. She introduced so many wonderful products to me, one being the Incredible Ginger Body Scrub. I’ve been using it ever since!!!

Origins Ginger Body Scrub..part of our five things friday!

Love the way it gently exfoliates my rough, dry skin and leaves it feeling soft and rejuvenated! I’m totally obsessed with the smell of it!

Another “staple” product of mine…. It’s in my shower at all times!

You can also get a deal, code “FAM20”:

deal you can snag for the ginger body scrub!

New Skin Liquid Bandage

OK so the second one is also from me, Dawn.

I am an accident waiting to happen. I’m constantly injuring myself! Ugh! #thestruggleisreal.

On Sunday while unloading my dishwasher I sliced my finger open right on my knuckle with a sharp knife!! OUCH!! Once I cleaned up the wound I applied New Skin.

new skin - great for healing skin... part of Five Things Friday part 7!

I’m sure many of you probably heard of or have already used New Skin but for those that haven’t, it’s a must have in your medicine cabinet.

It is a waterproof liquid bandage for your skin that heals your cuts like magic within days. I have to warn you that it does string a little!

This product has been life changing for me and my husband who is also accident prone! It must be a family thing! Lol!

Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps (GF) Minis Original Flavor

PHEW! That is a long title for #3!

Dawn here..again. Let me start by saying I do have a sensitivity to gluten but I do not have celiac disease.

THESE PRETZELS ARE MY #1 GO TO SNACK! Only 110 calories for 35 minis! They are thin, crispy, and full of pretzel flavor, so you won’t believe that they are gluten free.

great gluten free mini pretzels!

When Eva’s daughter Caroline comes to my house she always ask for some of “Auntie Dawn’s yummy pretzels!” (Eva here – every time I am with Dawn, which is weekly, she has 1-2 bags in her purse at all times and is constantly eating them. lol)

They can be difficult to find in stores so I stock up on them from walmart.

If you are a pretzel lover I suggest you give these adorable tasty minis a try!

Next up..some makeup and hair ♥︎

Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara

We are almost through the list at #4!

Dawn – This is the only mascara that I can wear on my bottom lashes that won’t give me raccoon eyes, and it’s very long lasting!!

The wand and bristles are teeny tiny (half the size of a regular brush), which is perfect for coating lower lashes precisely. I even use this on my upper lashes as a finishing coat.

teeny tiny mascara - clinique lower lash. Five Things Friday Part 7!
Teeny Tiny Mascara!

I highly recommend if you like your lower lashes to POP!!!

P.S. I purchased one for Eva to try so I’m curious to hear what she thinks….

Eva here – I just tried it this morning and really like it. Dawn’s assessment above is exactly how I feel – it’s very precise and impossible to clump. Clumping is my pet-peeve on my bottom lashes. To be honest, I didn’t even know this existed; Dawn told me about it & then surprised me with it. Super happy with the results, and I like having a mascara to evenly do the bottom lash, which is my biggest challenge!

SO! Last but not least….

Dry Bar Detox Conditioner

#5! Last one for today.

We have all heard of dry shampoo, but it’s rare you hear about a “dry conditioner“, right?

We both really love this dry conditioner.

Detox Dry Condioner. we both love this! Five Things Friday part 7

I (Dawn) especially like it when my hair looks dull and my ends look frizzy and dry! Every morning I spray it on my ponytail before I do anything.

I (Eva) love to use this after sweaty double late-night fitness classes I teach at the gym.

To be honest…we both struggle to find a REALLY good dry shampoo. Does anyone have any recommendations?

If we had to choose, we do like Dry Bar brand as pictured below, but we are still on the hunt something just a tad better, which is why we 100% gravitate towards the dry conditioner. Just works better for both of us!

Decent dry shampoo. We are still on the hunt for the BEST though!

Quick review for this one…but sometimes we like to just keep it straight to the point. ha!

So there it is…our Five Fav’s for this week (part 7!) Read Part 6 here.

Another week down and the weekend is here!

What is everyone up to this weekend? Any questions – we are here to answer!

XO, Dawn & Eva

dawn and eva the cousin connections five things friday

Hi Everyone & Happy Friday! Another edition of Five Things Friday Summer Edition coming at you! We have a very good mix today (edition part one found here).

Let’s start with the 2 beauty/body products first, then get to home items.

  • Jergens Natural Glow Daily MoisturizerDawn here! Who doesn’t love a natural sun glow without having to get in the sun?!?! I use this as my daily moisturizer after showering. It is quick absorbing with a very light scent. Definitely make note that it is not completely odorless. ONLY WARNING MUST WASH HANDS THOROUGHLY once you are finished applying this product. This comes in different tones which is awesome. There is also a Jergens Natural Glow for faces only, which I also love! Prices vary but Amazon has one of the lowest prices $8.29. Eva here – I have used this and also love it… it is buildable which is great to get to the color you desire. I also agree, it is not odorless – so watch that!
jergens natural glow
  • Tecnu Original Outdoor Skin Cleanser – Dawn here. THIS STUFF REALLY WORKS!!!Just follow the instructions on the back of the bottle and you will be pleasantly surprised how quickly your symptoms will clear up! You can also use this as a preventative measure. Tecnu has a variety of different products to choose from. My favorite is the original but they are all amazing. This product can be purchased at Amazon or at any drugstore!
Tecnu original
  • Brookstone Automatic Wine Opener – We both absolutely love this wine opener. Dawn has the best review:
    • $35.00 on Amazon.
    • Battery Operated ~ takes 4 AA Batteries.
    • Removes cork effortlessly!
    • I usually “struggle” with cork removal and even I can manage this without assistance! Lol!
    • Hold button switch down (make sure it goes all the way down) make sure you hold bottle of wine firmly. When the corkscrew stops, lift the corkscrew away from the bottle. To release the cork simply press the upper part of the switch.
    • Comes with a base to store opener when not in use. Base also has a foil cutter on the bottom (Which Eva loves – she likes to always get the foil off first).
brookstone automatic wine opener
  • Portable Clip-on Fan – I (Eva) absolutely love this little gadget! This has been life-changing for us as a family (dramatic, I know, lol)… but we use this at the beach when we try to get our 19-month-old son to nap. It clips right onto anywhere you want it (stroller, wagon, etc) and runs off of a battery that is rechargeable. Pretty self explanatory & really works… and we got many successful naps thus far and keeps him cool! See the picture below – look closely to the top left. You will see the fan clipped on.
portable fan for napping baby!
  • Kids Protein Clif Bars – last but not least! I, Eva, just had to include these. These may say “for kids”, but I eat them regularly and they are a great in-between-meal type of snack. I order several boxes at a time from Amazon on a subscription basis, and we plow through them. They are only 130 calories with quite a few grams of protein and some fiber. I will be honest, they probably only satisfy my hunger for 90 min or so at max, but hey it’s something. I’m also glad my kids will eat these more often than not and prevents them from crashing off all the sugary-donuts & muffins they tend to gravitate towards.
best on the go protein bar - kids clif bar

Well that’s all we’ve got for today… we cannot believe we are half-way through August. Next week we have another video planned and hoping to get it released by Wednesday. Stay tuned, we have some very exciting things to share!
